Who runs Dormen?

Dorset Business Mentoring is co-ordinated from our office in Upton (Poole), where some of our complimentary skills workshops are run.

The programme is managed on a day to day basis by three part-time Programme Managers who report to a Management Board responsible for the finance and overall strategic direction and operation of the Dormen service. The Board consists of representatives of Dormen’s sponsors, Dorset’s Local Authorities and volunteer mentors.

Dorset Business Mentoring benefits from the generous financial support and endorsement of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council & Dorset Council.

 

We are also part of the Dorset Business Growth Programme funded by the European Regional Development Fund, which enables us to extend our services to our mentees.

A Partners’ Group also exists, consisting of stakeholders and other partner organisations with an interest in the success of Dormen. We maintain close ties with these groups in the interest of service business owners current and future in our County:
